HIVQUAL

HIVQUAL is a HRSA-sponsored national capacity-building project to help HIV care facilities build and sustain quality improvement programs among Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part C and Part D grantees. Built upon a model of quality improvement consultation that was developed in New York State, the goal of HIVQUAL is to improve the quality of care delivered to persons living with HIV. Care is monitored using a sampling strategy that promotes self-assessment through standardized record review, and participants are coached to identify performance improvement opportunities and conduct projects for performance improvement.
